Probleme mit SUSE 10.0

Hallo ,
Ich habe ein " komisches " Problem :?:
Zuerst : Ich hatte auf den Rechner erst SUSE 9.3 ohne Probleme :!:
Jetzt habe Ich SUSE 10.0 ( ohne Fehlermeldungen ) installiert und habe folgendes :
Wenn Ich den Rechner ausschalten oder rebooten möchte passiert erst einmal 25 bis 30 Sekunden nichts , bis er sich dann ausschaltet oder neu startet .
Das war bei SUSE 9.3 nicht der Fall , und das nervt immer eine halbe Minute zu warten !
Die Hardware des Rechners : Athlon XP 2000+ , ASROCK K7VT4A Pro mit VIA KT400a Chipsatz , Soundblaster PCI64 , Radeon 9700 PRO , 80 GB Harddisk mit win C , win D Partition , SWAP ( 700 MB ) und Linux ( 20 GB ) Partition , 768 MB RAM .

Es gibt doch bestimmt irgendwo ein "Logbuch" wo man sehen kann ob ein Prozess gestört ist ?
UND : Ich habe SUSE 10.0 ein zweitesmal installiert und genau den gleichen Fehler :?
Kann den Rechner geholfen werden :?:

PS : sonnst habe Ich noch keine Probleme festgestellt ...

Schließen sich die ganzen KDE-Fenster und dann kommt der SUSE-Splashscreen? Falls ja, dann mal ESC drücken und schauen, wo er "hängen bleibt". Evtl. sind das nur die ganzen preloads, die er manchmal neu erstellen muss. Von SUSE 9.3 auf 10.0 ist das Hochfahren schneller geworden auf Kosten des Runterfahrens.

Das ist nur wenn Software installiert wurde. Wurde nix am System verändert, fährt er gewohnt schnell herunter.
Zumindest bei mir hier.

Wenn Ich ausschalte oder reboot anklicke bleibt Mir für eine halbe Minute noch der Desktop erhalten , bevor der gewohnte schwarze Hintergrund erscheint und das System herunterfährt

Ich vermute mal, daß das System zwar herunterfährt, den X-Server aber erst relativ spät abschießt. Wenn nach dem 'herunterfahren'-Befehl die Festplatte anläuft, ist alles in Ordnung.
