[gelöst] openSUSE bootet nicht mehr vollständig

Hallo Gemeinde,

ich brauche dringend Hilfe, weil ich absolut nicht weiß, was ich machen muss.
openSUSE bootet nicht mehr vollständig. Ich schreibe gerade über Win und gestern funktionierte noch alles. Ich vermute wieder ein schiefgegangenes Update.

Also, nach dem Einschalten wird GRUB geladen, ich wähle openSUSE aus und kurz danach wird dann der Bildschirm komplett schwarz.
Also Restart per Resetknopf, über "erweiterte Einstellungen" den aktuellen openSUSE-Kernel im Wiederherstellungsmodus ausgewählt.
Der autom. Fehlerscan mit fsck auf /dev/sda7 wird durchgeführt und soweit ich das sehen konnte, keine Fehlermeldung. Hängen bleibt er bei:

Bitte helft mir. Ich könnte heulen und habe keine Ahnung, was ich machen muss. :(

OK, sieht so aus als wäre fsck doch nicht ohne Fehler. Habe oS13.2-Live gestartet und die root-partition mit fsck überprüft:

Der Resetknopf sollte nur als allerletzter Ausweg genutzt werden!
Besser wäre hier:

Damit landest du in der Konsole, bzw. es wird die laufende KDE-Sitzung beendet...

Die Fehler des Filessystemes dürften von der Nutzung das Resetknopfes herrühren.
Herunterfahren lässt sich das System als root mit:

ich glaube, das war wieder ein Update mit "Nebeneffekt". So wie hier im März:

Auf jeden Fall bootet oS wieder und mit

rpm -Va | grep -i missing
habe ich die fehlenden Dateien gecheckt. Über zypper habe ich die betrefenden Pakete wieder installiert.

Was mich aber wirklich Wahnsinnig macht: was klappt da nicht? Innerhalb von drei Monaten zwei mal so ein Problem. Das ist nicht normal und auch kein Einzelfall. :censored:

Kann man irgendwo einstellen, wie Updates durchgeführt werden müssen? Und gibt's eine Möglichkeit/Einstellung Updates 100% auf Nummer sicher zu installieren?

Ich persönlich habe 2 Theorien zu diesen Ereignissen. Da ich beide nicht beweisen kann, beruhen meine Theorien auf Gefühl und bisherigen Erfahrungen.
1. Es gibt die Möglichkeit dem Festplattenkrontroller zu sagen, dass er die Rückmeldung der Festplatte nicht abwarten soll, wenn Daten geschrieben werden. Ich weis nicht, wie diese Einstellung genau heißt, aber vor Jahren hatte ich mal dadurch ein Problem mit einem SCSI-Controller, der Bad Blocks erzeugte. Nach dem ich (unter Win) herausgefunden habe, wie ich es einzustellen habe, dass der Controller schön auf die Rückmeldung der Festplatte warten soll, hatte ich keine Probleme mehr damit.
Evtl. ist das mit oS 13.2 falsch eingestellt worden. Daher wäre es gut zu wissen, wo ich diese Funktion finden kann, um sie zu kontrollieren bzw. korrigieren.
2. Das (für mich neue) Update-Tool hat bei mir ein Problem. Bisher kannte ich das Tool mit dem Käfer in der Taskbar nicht. Wenn ich mich recht erinnere, habe ich bei meinen früheren oS-Versionen evtl. nur eine Mitteilung über ein Update bekommen. Bisher wurden die Updates immer über die "Online-Aktualisierung" von Yast eingespielt. Meist habe ich sie manuell aufgerufen. Evtl. wurde genau dieses Tool auch autom. gestartet, das weis ich leider nicht mehr so genau.

Für Punkt 2 würde sprechen, dass ich bei dem Vorfall im März die Updates über das Käfer-Tool eingespielt habe. Beim gestrigen Update weis ich es nicht mehr. Zudem hat das Käfer-Tool immer Probleme bei Updates vom Flash-Player. Über das Yast-Tool geht's immer.

Um Pkt. 2 zu überprüfen wäre es hilfreich, wenn man das Käfer-Update-Tool abschalten oder über das Yast-Tool leiten könnte.
Ich weis, unter Yast gibt es "Konfiguration der Online-Aktualisierung". Da hört es sich so an, als würden die Updates ohne mein Zutun eingespielt. Das will ich nicht! Allerdings würde sich diese Konfiguration vermutlich auf das Yast-Tool beziehen. Aber was ist mit dem anderen Update-Tool?

Die Werte der Attribute 199 und 200 hängen vermutlich mit den 7 schweren Fehlern zusammen, deren letzter aber schon ziemlich lange zurückliegt. Gemäß den Attributen 5 und 196 wurden noch keine fehlerhaften Sektoren gegen Reserve-Sektoren getauscht. Die Platte scheint mir eher unverdächtig zu sein.

Zur Theorie 1 kann ich nichts sagen, bei aktuellen Platten scheint sie mir aber etwas weit hergeholt. Außerdem wirst Du wohl auch bei anderen Gelegenheiten größere Datenmengen speichern.

Zur Theorie 2 kann ich im Prinzip auch nichts sagen, da ich weder 13.2 noch KDE 4 noch den "Käfer" verwende. Letzteres Ding sollte aber deaktivierbar bzw. deinstallierbar sein, und wenn es für Fehler im Dateisystem verantwortlich wäre, müßte das Forum voll mit solchen Problemen sein. Gegebenenfalls solltest Du hier ein eigenes Thema eröffnen.

Somit bin ich immer noch ratlos, was sich bei Dir abspielt. Gibt es bei

Ja, das denke ich auch. Also nicht, dass es weit hergeholt wäre, sondern, dass es wesentlich mehr Vorfälle geben würde.

Hmm, das lasse ich mir durch den Kopf gehen. Um das aber mit konkreteren Daten untermauern zu können, werde ich die nächsten Monate konsequent über das Yast-Tool updaten. Komischerweise gibt es Updates von ffmpeg-Paketen, die nur über das "Käfer"-Tool installiert werden können. Mit dem Yast-Tool sehe ich diese Pakete garnicht.

Das ist vermutlich auf "nur patches" (also Pakete, die lediglich die gegenüber der vorhergehenden Paketversion geänderten Dateien enthalten) eingestellt, und die gibt es meines Wissens nur für das Update-Repo (für Packman gibt es sie auf jeden Fall nicht).

Bei der dmesg-Ausgabe sehe ich nichts, was ich mit einem Plattenproblem in Verbindung bringe (aber das sagt nicht viel aus),
