Problem mit updates 13,1-64

heute morgen (28.12.2014) habe ich
ausgeführt, und nach dem empfolenen Neustart startet KDM nicht. Fehlermeldung:

amd_ucode/microcode_amd_fam16h.bin not found
es existiert nur

microcode_amd_fam15h.bin
wenn bei einem update so ertwas passiert empfinde ich das als Sabotage. das ist nicht das erste Problem mit den updates. vor kurzem gab es ein update zu cupsd. setdem funktioniert mein Drucker/Scanner nicht mehr (Brother DCP195C). ich hab auf diesem Rechner (64bit) das Linux 13.1 drei mal installiert, so da ich noch was machen kann. zum Drucken und Scannen muss ich jetzt meinen über 10 Jahre alten Laptop mit Windows XP nehmen. neue Linux Versionen laseen sich darauf nicht mehr installieren. lassen sich denn für die updates keine kompenten MItarbeiter mehr finden ?

Übrigens gab es gestern bei openSUSE 13.2 ein X11 Update, da kann es sein, das man den Grafikkartentreiber neu installieren muss. War evtl. bei 13.1 auch so?

Nein, denn bei der 13.1 stammt
  • der letzte Treiber vom 15. Dez. 2014
  • der letzte xorg-x11-server vom 18. Dez. 2014
beides aus der Angabe unter "Build Date" entnommen.

offensichtlich kennt niemand eine Lösung des Problems. im Internet findet man viel zu dem Problem mit angeblichen Lösungen. ich hab da viele Stunden mit probiert, alles nur Zeitverschwendung. funktioniert Linux in Zukunft nur noch mit Geräten (Hardware) welche die Programm-(Software) Schreiber selber haben ?

Deine einzige Fehlermeldung betrifft einen fehlenden Microcode, den es laut AMD nicht gibt. Ein Zusammenhang mit Deinen Problemen ist eher unwahrscheinlich, da die damit temporär vorgenommenen Korrekturen der in jeder CPU enthaltenen Fehler eher nur für sehr spezielle Situationen erforderlich sind.

Ansonsten lese ich nur Prosa ohne Informationsgehalt, und daher kann Dir niemand helfen.

Wenn AMD etwas nicht bereitstellt, ist es korrekt von Linux, darauf hinzuweisen (vor Deinem update hast Du die Meldung nicht beachtet).

Das ist Blödsinn und hat mit deinem Problem nichts zu tun.

Starte den Rechner nicht im failsafe sondern normal im Init 3 und poste dann die Ergebnisse von

tail -n 40 /var/log/messages

Und welcher Treiber läuft mit der Radeon-Grafikkarte?
Poste dann einmal:

Vor der Auswertung der Xorg.0.log muß zuerst das System ganz normal gestartet werden. Wir brauchen keine Datei, die von einem Failsafe-Start stammt, daher erweitere ich den Befehl auf:

P. S. Wegen Deiner Befindlichkeit werden die Kernel-Entwickler nicht eine Warn-Meldung weglassen, wenn es zu den von Deiner CPU gemeldeten Informationen Processor Signature und Processor Revision ID keinen Microcode gibt.

vor dem update war der microcode vorhanden. der Processor hat sich nicht geändert. sehr aufschlussreich, wie man mit einem update einen microcode verschwinden läßt. das ist Sabotage !!!

Wenn in einem Betriebssystem, das von Freiwilligen in ihrer Freizeit, entwickelt und Dir kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt wird, ein Fehler auftritt (wobei z. Zt. noch nicht einmal klar ist, ob tatsächlich ein Fehler oder ein "user-error" vorliegt), sprichst Du von Sabotage.

Du wendest Dich mit einem (möglicherweise sogar von Dir verschuldetem) Problem an ein Forum und erwartest, dass Dir die Forums-Mitglieder (in ihrer Freizeit!) helfen Dein Problem zu lösen, hast aber selbst nicht die Zeit (oder die Lust?) die erforderlichen Informationen dazu bereit zustellen.

Würdest Du ein kostenpflichtiges Betriebssystem mit Wartungsvertrag und vereinbarten Service-Leveln nutzen, könnte ich Dein Verhalten nachvollziehen, aber so wie die Gegebenheiten sind, kann ich Dein Verhalten nicht verstehen.

wenn ich bei meinem funktionierenden Linux zypper up eingebe und der Rechner startet anschließend nicht mehr, dann ist es ein selbst verschuldetes Problem ? sehr merkwürdrige Ansichten
