kein update mit yast

Hallo

habe mir open Suse 11.3 neu aufgespielt und kann kein update mit Yast machen.
Wenn ich update zeigt er mir kein update an.
Repositories habe ich alle angeklickt und aktualisiert.
Ich habe trotzdem noch firefox 3.6 drauf, sollte doch eigentlich anbieten 4. oder?

Wie meinst Du das genau? Du hast nur die Standard-Repos (OSS, Non-OSS, Update) welche nach der Installation vorhanden sind; oder hast Du über die Gemeinschafts-Repos noch weitere hinzugefügt? Über das Update-Repo gibt es keine neuen Programmversionen. Zeige doch mal die Ausgabe von:

Das ist mal wieder ne repo-Liste.
Bei mehr als 300 Beiträgen solltest Du aber wissen, das mehr oft weniger (repos) bedeutet.

Doppelte kann man rauswerfen, Prioritäten sollte man bei so einer Liste auf jeden Fall setzen.

Spontan fällt mir auf das alle Paketquellen über die gleiche Priorität verfügen.
Das bedeutet das, selbst bei einem Distributions-Upgrade nur eher selten der Anbieter gewechselt wird.
Möchtest Du also (und das solltest Du) die Packman-Pakete für Multimedia-Anwendungen nutzen, so musst Du zwingend die Priorität dieses Repositorys ändern, das geht so:
Code: 
zypper mr -p 20 packman.inode.at-suse
Danach dann ein
Code: 
zypper -v dup
ausführen und das System neu starten lassen (um auch die benutzen Prozesse zu aktualisieren → zypper ps).
Um ein wenig auszumisten wäre es gut zu sehen ob Du denn wirklich aus jeder Quelle etwas installiert hast. Hierzu bitte folgende Abfrage anpassen:

zypper pa -i -r URL
Sollte bei einer Paketquelle keine Ausgabe kommen, so ist dieses Repo ungenutzt und kann entfernt werden:
Code: 
zypper rr NAME_DES_REPOSITORYS
Mindestens die Nr. 31 kann nach erfolgreichem installieren
Code: 
zypper in libdvdcss
entfernt werden. Es werden ja nicht die daraus installierten Pakete entfernt.

hier kann allgemein mal aufgeräumt werden, was die Repos angeht,..
Das schaut für mich aus, als ob hier sehr viele One-Klick Installer verwendet wurden und diveres Infos nicht richtig oder gar nicht gelesen wurden,...

und den Repos in der Liste gehe ich eher von alles was an Gemeinschafts-Repos in YaST angeboten wurde/vorhanden war, wurden auch eingebunden aus. :roll: ;)
