[gelöst]Standard Truetype-fonts

Hallo!
Vielleicht eine blöde Frage :oops: und ich steh auf dem Schlauch, aber trotzdem:

Wo finde ich den die Standard-TTF-Dateien für die üblichen Sachen wie Times, Arial, Verdana usw. Ich hab das Problem, das ich die für die Beschriftungen in meinem Mapserver brauche, sie aber
a.) vermutlich nicht installiert hab, weil k.A, das ich die brauche
b.) vermutlich nicht installiert hab, da eh keine graphische Oberfläche da ist

Nun such ich Im Xorg-Verzeichnis, unter user/share , find findet auch nix, und yast bringt nur irgendwelche arabischen, kyrillische und koreanischen ttfs.

Bitte helft mir :oops:

Was du da aufzählst sind keine Standardschriftarten, sondern Microsoftschriften.
Kannst du aber durch ein entsprechendes Paket nachinstallieren. Schau mal in deiner Paketverwaltung nach mscorefonts. Die Pakete heißen je nach Distribtion immer etwas anders. Wirst du aber schon finden.

Hast du noch ein Windows auf der Platte?
Dann schau im Verzeichnis /windows/fonts
Dort liegen alle möglichen Schriften.

Um die Schriften in Suse verfügbar zu machen, gehst du dann wie folgt vor:

Edit:
Das von Grothesk angesprochene Paket heißt bei Suse so:
fetchmsttfonts.sh - Download Microsoft(r) TrueType Core Fonts
Zum Vergrößern anklicken....
Du bekommst es über ein YaST Online Update (YOU).

Danke für die Antworten :) . Nein, ist kein Windows mehr da, deswegen das Problem. Ich wusste auch nicht, das die austauschbar sind. Ich brauch die auch nur damit der Mapserver Beschriftungen machen kann, was anderes mag der halt nicht.
Naja, jetzt gibts halt den gewohnten Office-und-ESRI-Look in der Web-Karte...

Unter SUSE 11.0 ist das etwas anders.
Dort findet Ihr ein Script in /var/adm/update-scripts/ Namens : fetchmsttfonts-11.0-2.1-1

Ich habe es ausgeführt und erhalte folgende Rückmeldungen.
Ethliche Fonts konnten scheinbar nicht richtig entpackt werden...
