Fehler beim Einbinden von Laufwerken unter Amarok

Hallo Linuxgemeinde,
muß mal wieder damit anfangen, hab auch schon gegoogelt und nichts passendes gefunden! Ich hab OpenSuse 11 und KDE4.1 auf meinem Rechner.
Wenn ich unter Amarok->Wiedergabeliste->Medien hinzufügen->Speichermedien gehe, kommt die Fehlermeldung: "Die Medienverwaltung von KDE wurde nicht gestartet", diese Meldung kommt unter root und dem user! Im Runlevel-Editor ist der haldaemon ist aktiviert! Was muß sonst noch installiert bzw aktiviert sein, damit das wieder funktioniert?

Hast du den Haldaemon mal deaktiviert und neu aktiviert?

Da muß ich mich jetzt anschließen - habe gerade das selbe Problem mit SuSe 10.3
Heute frisch installiert - da wars gut.

Inzwischen hab ich ein paar kleine Testprogramme geschrieben und ausprobiert und den Bootmanager konfiguriert.
Im Bootmanager waren 3 Windowse eingetragen, wovon eines die Recoverypartition und eines eine reine Datenpartition ist. Also hab ich diese beiden wegkonfiguriert.

Wenn ich als root kcontrol starte, dann sehe ich da, daß HAL angekreuzt aber ausgegraut ist!

Starte ich sysinfo:/ sehe ich die drei Windowspartitionen zuerst als /windows/C, /windows/D und /windows/E angezeigt und nach kurzer Zeit wechselt das auf Data, OS und WinRe (die Partitionbezeichnungen).
Ab jetzt taucht im Kontextmenü der Eintrag zum Einbinden (mounten) auf. Und beim Versuch dies zu tun kommt dann die gegenständliche Fehlermeldung.

Ich überlege bereits die Partitionen über die fstab fix zu mounten.
Besser wäre es aber natürlich, wenn das wieder wie beabsichtigt funktionieren würde.

NACHTRAG:

Jetzt hab ich noch mal kurz Shutdown - Vista starten (war in Suspend to Disk) - Vista Shutdown - Suse starten gemacht.
Und jetzt funktioniert das wieder!

Habt ihr ähnliche Hardware oder beide Vista?
Bei mir jedenfalls startet der Daemon ohne Probleme.

Ich hab nur OpenSuse11 am laufen, bei 10.3 hatte ich gar kein Problem damit, da wurde auch mein IPod mit Amrok erkannt, das funktioniert auch noch nicht!
HAL hab ich beendet und wieder gestartet, das hat auch nichts gebracht!

Hab das Problem immer noch, hab meinen IPod angeschlossen, dann wurde er in der Geräteüberwachung angezeigt, danach hab ich meinen IPod einmal kurz über die Geräteüberwachung geöffnet, danach wurde der IPod auch in Amarok erkannt und ich konnte Musik kopieren, das gleiche funktionierte dann auch mit meiner externen Festplatte!
Beim nächsten PC Start die gleich Prozedur!
Kann mir jemand sagen, an was das liegen könnte?

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe das Problem ebenfalls:

Fehler - Amarok : Die Medienverwaltung von KDE wurde nicht gestartet.

Installiert ist SUSE 11.0 mit KDE 4 in der 64-Bit Version von der Live-CD.

Parallel dazu fehlt im Moment noch jeglicher Sound, da für den SigmaTel-Chip ein passender Codec noch fehlt.

Als Linux-Newbe bitte ich um Unterstützung, damit SUSE zunächst einmal die Basics wie meine Windows-Installationen zur Verfügung stellt.
