k3b crash opensuse 10.3

Moin ich habe immer wieder Probleme mit K3B (Packman Version). Etliche Rohlinge sind schon Hopps gegangen. K3B friert entweder sofort ein bevor es über das Startlogo hinausgeht oder Brennvorgänge bleiben einfach hängen. Die Systemüberwachung zeigt mir dann an das "wodim" nicht unterbrechbar ruht. Ein Kill hilft da nicht. HD Laufwerklampe und Brenner Licht leuchten bis ich neustarte weiter. Selbst eine Simulation des Brennvorgangs friert mir so ein. :cry:

Also k3b ist nicht das Problem. Ich habe eine erfolgreich gebrannte DVD mit einer Bildersammlung mit dem KDE eigenen Betrachten durchsucht. Nach einiger Zeit konnte ich aber nicht mehr auf die DVD zugreifen. Die DVD ist intakt (auf Mac überprüft). Es kommt auch vor das eingelegte CD oder DVD gar nicht automatisch gemountet werden. Ich erkenne da einfach kein System dahinter. An dem IDE Strang hängen lediglich ein CD LW und ein DVD Brenner.
Werde beim nächsten "Ereignis" mal die messages posten.

Ja wollte mal schnell ein paar Daten auf CD sichern. Leere CD Rom eingelegt und gewartet. Nix kein Kontextmenue. K3B aus dem Startmenue gestartet, nix. Konsole k3b nichts auch keine Fehlermeldung.

Also das ist heute das zweite Mal, dass ich dieses Fehlerbild sehe.

Viele CD/DVD-Lw haengen am IDE-Port ?

An dem IDE Strang hängt ein CD Rom 40x LW und ein DVD RW Laufwerk. Da ich zunächst annahm es liegt am alten CD Rom LW habe ich etliche andere durchprobiert. Immer das gleiche Problem. Am anderen IDE Strang hängt eine 160 GB xp Platte. Mein Linux hat zwei eigene 120 GB SATA Platten.
Kurios ist das es mal klappt mal nicht (meistens). Ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen das ich der einzige User mit dem Phänomen bin.

Das sieht mir ganz genau nach bug #332588 (siehe comment #4) aus.
Der derzeitig beste workaround (!) ist wohl der Bootparameter
libata.pata_dma=1
aber vielleicht gibt es ja auch bald mal nen fix (per Onlineupdate) dafür.

Naja das Datum auf dem Link von Dir ist November 2007 nun ist der Januar 2008 schon bald um. Ziemlicher Käse ist das.
Habe mal den genannten Boot Parameter verwendet. Kann aber mal wieder auf keins der beiden Laufwerke zugreifen. Mal eben eine CD brennen geht nur sporadisch. Super stabiles System. Wäre ich mal bei meiner 10.2 installation geblieben.

So habe nun mal das CD Rom abgehängt und nochmal probiert, mehrmals natürlich und siehe da ich kann wieder DVD schauen, brennen wie es beliebt usw.. Der Tip mit bootparameter libata.pata_dma=1 hat vorher auch nicht geholfen. Für eine On the fly kopie ist das natürlich ärgerlich aber ich würde mich nicht wundern wenn zwei DVD LWs gehen würden. Hatte ja bisher immer DVD Brenner und CD Rom oder Brenner was ja nicht geklappt hat.

Alles okay nur noch eine NEC DVD am Strang.

+Es hat geklappt. Wie kann es angehen das es nicht geht sobald ein CD Rom Laufwerk am Strang hängt?
