Laut einer Anleitung von SuSE, bzw. aus den Amarok-FAQs, ist es möglich den Musicbrainz Support von Amarok unter SuSE 10.2 zu aktivieren, indem man "libtunepimp-faad2" installiert. Zu finden in den Guru-Repositories. Leider ist es da nicht und die Suche nachdem Paket findet nur eine Version für SuSE 10.1...
Meine Frage: Gibt es irgendwo eine kompatible Version von "libtunepimp-faad2" oder eine andere Lösung, um den Support für den Download der Metadaten, der File-Tags über Musicbrainz zu aktivieren?
Hier die Erleuterung von SuSE und Amarok:
To enable Musicbrainz tags for mp3 and mp4v2 files:
1. Add Guru as an installation source:
Add http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-guru/rpm/10.2 to YaST2's installation sources.
For how to do that, have a look at the openSUSE wiki.
2. Install libtunepimp-mad and libtunepimp-faad2:
Open install/upgrade software in YaST2 and search for libtunepimp-mad and libtunepimp-faad2. Then install them.
Note that this will require mad and faad2 from the Packman repository, so make sure you have added the Packman repository to your list of installation sources before (see above).
That's all, have fun with Amarok.
