Seit der Installation von Suse 10.2 (Starterkit) habe ich ein Problem
mit MPlayer (vom Packman Repository):
Mit der Option -vo xv stürzt MPlayer mit folgender Fehlermeldung ab:
X11 error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)?,?% 1 0
MPlayer interrupted by signal 6 in module: vo_check_events
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We
can't and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a
possible bug.
Mit der Option -vo x11 funktionierts, aber damit lässt sich der
Videoausschnitt leider nicht zoomen. Unter Suse 10.0 geht es auch mit
-vo xv problemlos. Bei beiden Installationen habe ich die gleiche
Videoauflösung. Der Videocontroller steckt im Intel 810-Onboard-Chip.
Erste Recherchen deuten auf ein X11 Problem. Einen Tip habe ich
gefunden: in xorg.conf "LinearAlloc" auf "8160" setzen. Damit lässt
sich aber der grafische Modus überhaupt nicht mehr starten (falsche
Option LinearAlloc). Laut "man i810" ist diese Option auch nur für den
Intel 830 oder höher gedacht.
