Kopete stürzt bei mir immer ab, wenn ich unter einstellungen die Geräte einstellungen aufrufen will!

die "neue" 0.12 gibt's hier

Ohne Treiber wird das nichts bringen. Und dafür brauchst du den Chipsatz.
Schau mal mit 'lsusb -v' nach dem Ding.

Diesen Treiber brauchst du. Der war wohl mal im Kernel drin. Keine Ahnung, ob der rausgeflogen ist. Probier mal ein 'modprobe ov511'

Ansonsten wirst du den Treiber wohl selber bauen müssen.

Also jetzt läuft kopete, udn auch die cam ist unetr einstellungen funktions fähig, aber jetzt muss ich mal fragen wie man jetzt damit chatten kann

Oder was meinst du genau?
Wobei Webcam nicht von allen Protokollen unterstützt wird. Ich glaube MSN kann Webcam nutzen.
