k3b erkennt 2tes DVDRAM Laufwerk nicht

Hallo Leute,

folgendes Problem:

* Suse Linux 9.3
* k3b 0.11.22cvs
* LG DVDRAM (1. Controller, Slave) /dev/hdb
* LG DVDRAM (2. Controller, master) /dev/hdc

Wenn ich als root eingeloggt bin und k3b starte, werden beide DVDRAM Laufwerke erkannt. Als "normaler" User hingegen erkennt k3b nur ein Laufwerk, und zwar /dev/hdc.
Ich habe mir die Berechtigungen von /dev/hdb und /dev/hdc angeschaut, es gilt stets rw------- für /dev/hdb und rw-rw---- für hdc. Warum das so unterschiedlich ist, keine Ahnung.
Fest steht, wenn ich als "normaler" User mittels su ein chmod 666 /dev/hdb mache, wird das Laufwerk unter k3b sofort erkannt. Leider verschwindet diese Einstellung nach dem Reboot wieder.

Ich habe bereits die vorgeschlagenen Änderungen in der /etc/permissions.local gemacht

/usr/bin/cdrecord 4755
/usr/bin/cdrdao 4755
danach SuSEconfig --> kein Erfolg.
