[gelöst] 11.2 Neuinstallation kein sound

bei 10.3 war alles OK. auf der Konsole kmix, alsamix und speaker-test keine Fehlermeldungen.
mit play x.wav sieht man den Abspiel-Fortschritt, auch keine Fehlermeldung.

Desktop ist KDE4, bei Systemeinstellungen gibt es keine Einstellungen für KDE4,
man kann nur unter Benachrichtigungen Klang abspielen einstellen.
die im ersten Link aufgeführten Optionen model=3stack position_fix=1
habe ich ausprobiert, kein Erfolg.
alsa-plugins-pulse lässt sich nicht mit yast installieren,
Konflikt mit pattern-openSUSE-kde4_pure-11.2-20.22.1.i586
die weiteren aufgeführten Links sind für mich nach über 30 Jahren Linux nichts neues

Was denn, so lange gibt es Linux schon? Ich muss mich echt mal besser informieren, ich hatte das total anders im Kopf.

Woher stammt dieses pattern-Paket und wozu wird es benötigt? Ich würde es einfach testhalber mal deinstallieren. Was sagt alsaconf?

Ansonsten ist Deine Vorgehensweise wirklich kaum nachvollziehbar. Bitte beschreibe den von Dir gewählten Weg etwas genauer.

patterns-openSUSE-kde4_pure wird bei 11.2 Neuinstallation automatisch installiert.
was das ist kann man Nachsehen mit Software installieren >Suchen >Beschreibung.
alsaconf ist bei 11.2 nicht anwendbar. es funktoniert auch nicht.

Nach 30 von 15 Jahren Linux könnte man glatt meinen man hätte Ahnung von seinem System

Aktualisier mal deine ALSA-Pakete und installiere das Transport-Paket zu Deinem Kernel alsa-driver-kmp.

EDIT: Also ich hab auch die SUSE 11.2 und es funktioniert wunderbar dieses alsaconf

alsaconf löschst alle snd-module (zu sehen mit lsmod)
findet die vorhandene Hardware nicht und endet.
alsa-driver-kmp dieses package wird mit yast >software >suchen nicht gefunden.
kalsatools habe ich gefunden und installiert, kein Erfolg

hab das kmp-repositorie eingetragen
mit alsa-driver-kmp wird kein Treiber sondern ein anderer kernel installiert (desktop)
auch mit diesem kernel kein sound

Herr/Frau wschmock,

bei Ihrer 30 jährigen Erfahrung mit Linux dürfte Ihnen bewusst sein, dass es verschiedene Kernel gibt, und es immer sinnvoll ist durch

uname -a

herauszufinden welcher das System benutzt.
Dann guckt man in seine Paketverwaltung und installiert das PASSENDE Paket zu SEINEM KERNEL.

Ich denke, dass Ihre Erfahrung doch nicht so umfassend ist, wie Sie es darstellen.

Gerne sind wir bereit zu helfen, aber man sollte doch ehrlich sein. Die von uns gegebenen Hinweise sind für User mit 30 jähriger Erfahrung Routine.

es ist doch kein Problem zwischen mehreren kernel zu wählen,
da jeder kernel eigene module hat.

Das Problem sind nicht irgendwelche Kernel, sondern Deine mangelhafte Umsetzung der hier ergangenen Ratschläge.

- Tee trinken
- locker werden
- thread nochmal in Ruhe durchlesen
- Ratschläge sauber und mit Verstand umsetzen

ich hab eine komplette Neuinstallation vorgenommen und bei jedem zusätzlichem Modul einen Test gemacht.
Ergebnis: keine Änderung, kein sound.

nach abschalten der Stummschaltung für Kopfhörer in kmix habe ich sound im Kopfhörer.
weiterhin kein sound auf den Lautsprechern.
das durchsuchen von /proc/asound auf Einstellungen hat auch nichts gebracht.
ich kann mit modinfo -p alle modul-options sehen, aber nicht wie sie eingestellt sind.
gibt es einen Befehl mit dem man die aktuell eingestellten Optionen der Module sehen kann ?

Also wenn du doch sound auf dem Kopfhörer hast, dann funzt dein System an sich korrekt. Dann kann es nur noch an zwei/drei Dingen liegen:

a) du hast deine Lautsprecher in einer falschen Klinkenbuchse (evtl. in Microphon/Line in?)

b) du hast in kmix die falschen Settings? Gemutet irgendwie? Den Regler runtergedreht? (In Kmix in den Einstellungen mal "Kanäle einrichten" wählen und dort einige Settings mehr einblenden ... vielleicht stimmt da etwas nicht?)

c) deine Boxen sind im Sack? Mit anderen Boxen gegentesten ... Es gibt Lautsprecher, die viel Saft brauchen, damit die richtig laut Sound erzeugen. Aktive Lautsprecher am Start?

Vorübergehende Lösung/Umweg: Schließ deine Boxen am Kopfhörer Ausgang an? (Die sollten dann aber auf jeden Fall einen eingebauten Verstärker besitzen, sonst hörst du nicht viel, weil evtl. zu leise)

hallo, erst mal danke für deine Mühe. der Rechner ist ein Laptop MD98000 mit eingebauten Lautsprechern.
mit XP funktioniert der sound, auch mit Lautsprecher, also ist die Hardware OK.
in kmix sind alle optionalen Kanäle im Fenster und aktiviert, keine Stummschaltung.
ich hab inzwischen weitere Nachforschungen gemacht und die Ursache gefunden, kann sie aber nicht abstellen.

Hast du die FN Tasten mal alle geprüft? Da gab es mal etwas, um die externen Lautsprecher abstellen zu können. (FN und dann oben eine der F1 - F12 Tasten.) Ist aber nur ne Vermutung, da ich jetzt nicht dein Modell angeschaut habe. Ich hoffe für dich, dass das nicht so ein Medion Modell ist, das die Lautsprecher nur unter Windows aktiviert, so wie das vor einiger Zeit noch mit diesen Riser_Modem Dingern oder WLAN Teilen war. Ansonsten wüsste ich dann auch nicht weiter. Aber es kann eigentlich nicht viel sein, ... eigentlich. Ich drücke dir die Daumen!
