Hallo Linux-Profis!
(und amateure)
Ich will ins Internet. Zum einen funtkioniert ein ping auf meinen router, aber mehr nicht.Mit Firefox komme ich an den Router nicht ran.
Ich bin mir ja sicher, das das Thema nichts neues ist... Aber mit dem bisher gefundenen komme ich nicht weiter.
Habe einen neuen Rechner, Internet über Kabeldeutschland. Nach Installation von Suse mit Standardeinstellung für die Karte konnte ich noch nicht mal einen Ping ausführen.
Ich habe dann manuell Einstellungen verändert, jetzt kann ich zwar mein netzwerk (Dieser Rechner und Router) anpingen, aber mehr nicht.
Ich weiss durch nen bekannten, das der Eintrag in eth0 fehlerhaft ist, aber mit yast komme ich da nicht weiter.
Ich wurde auf etc/network/interfaces verwiesen, das verzeichniss network gibts bei mir nicht.
Ich habe mal ein paar Sachen zusammengetragen, im Anhang sind sie zu sehen. Weitere Informationen kann ich mit Anleitung natürlich liefern.

Das mit dem Netzwerkskript war schon gut mitgedacht.
Nur benötigen wir die Ausgabe komplett, vollständig und ungekürzt an einem Stück.
Die obige Ausgabe ist doch etwas chaotisch.
Was ich aber schon sehe: Die Netzwerkkarte ist auf statische IP gesetzt. Stell die auf dynamisch um.

Die Ausgabedatei des skriptes.
Hast du denn das LAN-Interface (und den Router natürlich auch!) nun mal auf DHCP gesetzt? Und alles was da an statischen IPs vergeben wurde rausgenommen?

Anschluß an einen HSI Kabelanschluß ist nämlich _eigentlich_ nicht mehr als Kabel reinstecken.
Setzt voraus, das man am Router nichts 'kaputtoptimiert' hat. Was mir hier der Fall zu sein scheint.

editiere mal die Datei resolv.conf und füge die Zeile
nameserver 192.168.0.1
am Ende der Datei ein. Dann abspeichern und schauen ob es nun geht. Evtl musste auch mal nen neustart machen.

Dann fehlt aber immer noch das Gateway für eht0.
Warum kompliziert, wenn es mit DHCP wesentlich leichter geht?

Wo finde ich denn resolv.conf ?
Wie gesagt, automatisch gab noch nicht mal ping..

Am Namen.

Keine Ahnung, wie der Programmierer framp die zurzeit nennt. Jedenfalls sollte da neben dem skript nur noch eine neue Datei in den Ordner purzeln.

Wenn du nun die ersten Schritte unternimmst, dann würde ich auch die Suse 11 nehmen. Die 10.2 dürfte in absehbarer Zeit die Unterstützung verlieren.
