W-LAN Probleme: OpenSuse 11.0 mit Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN

Hallo Leute,

hab mir heute erstmals auf meinem Rechner OpenSuse 11.0 mit Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN Adapter installiert. Läuft auch alles, bis auf das Internet... Mit dem Network Configurator kann ich meine WLAN Karte auswählen, bekomme aber keine möglichen Verbindungen angezeigt (Unter Windows finde ich immer so mindestens 5 verschiedene Verbindungen von den Nachbarn usw. und natürlich meine). Wenn ich meine Verbindung direkt einrichte funktioniert es auch nicht...er versucht dann stundenlang zu verbinden und nix passiert.
Als nächstes hab ich Kinternet versucht. Auch ohne Erfolg. Allerdings hab ich da wohl irgendnen Fehler gemacht und kann unter den einstellungen immer nur wieder zu YAST. Stelle da alles ein und nix passiert...
Meine Beschreibungen sind nich grade perfekt, aber ich hoffe mir kann jemand weiterhelfen.

Da fehlt die Firmware.
b43-firmwarecutter nachinstallieren und dann das darin enthaltene updateskript ausführen.

Ich hab nun die beiden rpm Pakete unter dem link ausgeführt, aber ansonsten noch nichts weiter gemacht... und zack ich bin online! Bekomme aber nix angezeit. Weiß also nich womit ich verbunden bin...jemand ne Ahnung wie das passieren kann?

Die Datei "compat-wireless-kmp-default-20080427_2.6.22.17_0.1-rm.1.i586.rpm" konnte ich übrigens nicht ausführen (Was genau ist das überhaupt?)

Habe also nur
"b43legacy-firmware-3.130.20.0-rm.0.noarch.rpm"
und
"b43-compat-wireless-firmware-4.150.10.5-rm.0.noarch.rpm"
ausgeführt. Muste ich die überhaupt beide ausführen?

Ist egal (bzw. besser), wenn das nicht installiert wurde. Das sind neuere Treiber (allerdings nicht für deinen Kernel, weswegen sich das auch nicht installieren lies). Aber da die jetzigen wohl funktionieren, weil lediglich die Firmware fehlte: Finger weg.

Muste ich die überhaupt beide ausführen?

Nein. Schaden tut es aber auch nicht. Lass einfach alles so, wie es nun ist.

Die Netze sollte man im knetworkmanager oder nm-applet sehen und einstellen können. Findet sich neben der Uhr.
