Acer Extensa 5220 4965agn WLAN Kartentreibereinrichtung

Hallo!

Leider muss ich mich an das Forum wenden, weil ich trotz stundenlangen Versuchen mit verschiedenen Anleitungen keinen Fortschritt gemacht habe.

Ich habe per Yast die Treiber für die Intel Karte 4965agn installiert.
Leider wird in den Network settings immernoch AMBIT Microsystem BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI angezeigt.

Wie bekomme ich diesen Treiber raus und den richtigen hier rein?

Inzwischen leuchtet sogar die WLAN Led. KWLAN sagt eht1 is not connected...

Und jetzt stellt sich natürlich die Frage, was man mit einem WLAN-Treiber für einen Adapter (Intel-4965AGN) will, den man gar nicht hat.

Egal. aber wie man eine Broadcom-Karte zum Laufen bekommt (die EINZIGE WLAN-Karte in diesem Laptop, also eigentlich genau das, was das System einem ja mitgeteilt hat) lässt sich mittels Forensuche leicht herausfinden.

Vielen Dank für den Tipp!

Inzwischen läuft die WLANKarte mit bcm43xx Treiber.

Ich arbeite unter KDE mit den KNetworkManager.

Dort wird das WLANNetzwerk angezeigt. Wenn ich auf verbinden gehen gebe ich das Kennwort für die WPA2 PSK Verschlüsselung an. Wird auch korrekt angezeigt.

Das Programm will sich dann verbinden, aber bleibt bei 28 % stehen und zeigt dann an "Verbindungsfehler Die Verbindung zum Netzwerk xxx kann nicht hergestellt werden."

Nun habe ich es schon mit Kinternet versucht als Alternative, aber scheinbar unterstützt Kinternet keine WPA2 Verschlüsselung nur WEP.

Leider weiss ich nun nicht mehr weiter.

Ich habe es gerade mit der Einstellung WPA-PSK+WPA2-PSK und auch noch mit NUR WPA
ausprobiert, aber geht immer noch nicht. Das selbe Problem wie oben beschrieben.
