Analoges Modem Motorola SM56 funktioniert nicht

Hi,

ich nutzte seit kurzem das Notebook Fujitsu Siemens Computers Amilo Xi 2528 mit Opensuse 10.3.

Die Hardware wird bis auf das Modem richtig erkannt.

Da ich keine Möglichkeit auf DSL umzusteigen wollte ich fragen ob jemand dieses Modem zum laufen gebracht hat.

Es würde mich freuen wenn ihr mir weiterhelfen könnt.

Ich fürchte, die linuxant-Treiber funktionieren mit dem Chipsatz nicht.
Hab mich selber mal mit dem Ding rumschlagen müssen, bin aber zu keiner Lösung gekommen.
Motorola hatte mal für einige (uralte) Distributionen Treiber im Angebot. Die funktionieren aber mittlerweile alle nicht mehr.

wäre evtl. aussagekräftiger. Ich sage dir aber voraus, dass das Modem nicht laufen wird.

Ich meine mich zu erinnern, das ich das Ding damals irgendwie identifizieren konnte. Ich glaube, das lief über lspci.
