[gelöst]smbfs start nicht automatisch unter 10.2 / 10.3

Hallo zusammen.

Folgende Hürde habe ich zu nehmen.

Innerhalb der Firma gibt es SMB-Shares. Um unter 10.2 sowie 10.3 auf diese zugreifen zu können, habe ich in die fstab des clients den folgenden Eintrag

//server/share /mointpoint cifs username=xxx,password=yyy,uid=Name des lokales Users,gid=users 0 0

Wenn ich dem System nun noch den Befehl.

/etc/init.d/smbfs start

gebe. Kann ich unter dem x-Window prima auf den Share(s) werkeln. Nach einem Reboot ist das Share jedoch nicht mehr erreichbar. Das liegt daran, dass smbfs als unused betitelt wird.
OK. Mittels des Runlevel-Editor / Expertenmodus im Runlevel 3 und 5 als Aktiviert gesetzt.
Doch leider keine Besserung. Erst nach einem manuellen Tritt kommt smbfs aus dem Quark. Auch im Runlevel-Editor steht smbfs als nicht aktiv.

Habe auch schon probiert smb,nmb,smb-client,cifs-mount, smb-winbind zu erneuern. Doch leider vergeblich. Unter 10.0 ist diese Sachlage nicht gewesen. Da wurde aber auch noch das Protokoll SMB voll unterstüzt. Ab 10.2 nur noch cifs

bin mir nicht sicher, aber kann es vielleicht am networkmanager liegen - dieser zieht das Netzwerk erst hoch wenn X (kde -> knetworkmanager) gestartet ist. Und da das Netzwerk jetzt im Userspace verwaltet wird, kann ein runlevelprozess nicht vorher schon mounten ... so denk ichs mir - is aber nur Theorie ...

Hmm, das interessiert mich auch was dabei 'rauskommt. Bin im Moment dabei meinen Schleppi auf 10.3 zu bringen.
Unter der 10.2 habe ich ifup für WLAN genutzt, möchte aber jetzt auf den Networkmanager umsteigen, da das unterwegs doch etwas bequemer ist.
Andererseits habe ich daheim eine NAS-Box im Netz, die ich für Backups und Multimedia-Geraffel nutze und auf die ich über smb zugreife.
Gibt es da eine Möglichkeit, die smb-Verbindung erst dann aufzubauen, wenn die WLAN-Verbindung bereits aktiv ist? Eventuell über die Anpassung oder Verschiebung von irgendwelchen Startskripten?
Angst vor der Konsole hab ich keine, 8) aber leider keinen Plan wo ich da anfangen soll zu suchen :roll:

Sobald der fertig ist, werde ich hier schreiben, ob es an dem Networkmanager lag/liegt.

Bezüglich Deiner Frage nach Startscripten kann ich nur sagen!

Es lag definitiv am KNetworkManager.

Dieser war beim starten des Runlevels für smbfs noch nicht aktiv. Somit hatte dieser ins Leere gerufen und aufgrund dessen sich wieder hingelegt.

Würde ich übrigens auch machen ;-))))
