SLES Installations Server :: TFTP Probleme

Hi,

ich habe ein SLES 8.1 aufgesetzt den ich als Quelle für Installationen übre das Netzwerk einsetzten möchte. Das ganze soll ohne Disketten oder CDs direkt über das Netz laufen. Der hierfür nötige DHCP-Server läuft bereits. Allerdings habe ich Probleme mit dem TFTP-Dienst. Wenn der Client gestartet wird, bekommt er zwar eine Verbindung zum TFTP-Server, allerdings bekomme ich nach einiger Zeit die Meldung "TFTP open timeout". Im internet habe ich immer wieder den Hinweis gefunden die blksize Option des TFTP-Dienstes zu deaktivieren und pmtu discovery abzuschalten. Allerdings hilft beides nicht. Hat vielleicht einer von euch schon mal ein solches Problem gehabt und eine Lösung gefunden???

The -r option can be used to disable specific options; this may be necessary to work around bugs in specific TFTP client implementations. For example, some TFTP clients have been found to request the blksize option, but crash with an error if they actually get the option accepted by the server.
