Wireless MAxg USB Adapter U.S. Robotics Suse 10.2

Hallo Leute hab mir ein Wireless Lan Router gekauft von U.s Robotics Wireless MAXg Router und dazu den USB Adapter ...
Bekomme nur nicht das Internet zu laufen weil ich nicht so wirklich weiß was ich machen soll und ob ich Treiber brauche ....

Auf jeden fall hab ich in der Konsole den befehl
/usr/sbin/lsusb eingegeben und es kam raus :

Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

Heißt dies, dass er den USB stick gefunden hat und ich keine Treiber brauche????
Und wenn ich den Befehl : /usr/sbin/hwinfo --wlan
eingebe läd er kurz und es passeirt nichts ... hat mir einer ein tipp??

Ach so und noch was, wenn ich den Rechner neustarte, startet immer Knetworkmanager, und wenn man dort auf Optionen geht geht steht drahtloses Netwerk aktiv und dort kann ich es deaktivieren, anfangs dachte ich er ist verbunden doch in Firefox tut sich nichts

Schau mal hier. Du benötigst einen sehr aktuellen ndiswrapper und die Windows-Treiber.

Habe den ndiswrapper aktualisiert auf die neuste Version und habe eine inf.datei gefunden
verstehe nur nicht wie ich mit dem ndiswrapper arbeite oder wie ich die inf.datei installiere ....
da wir es nicht wirklich Erklärtrt

Muss natürlich auf die USB-ID angepasst werden, also 011b für idProduct, die Datei muss ggf. auch noch angelegt werden

Und bevor Du loslegst, löschst Du den ganzen Mist, den Du da unter /etc/ndiswrapper durch die vorherigen Harakiri-Aktionen nun drinstehen hast.

Ist schon klasse, wenn man auf solch ein Posting wie oben, an dem man selbst eine ganze Weile rumgefrickelt hat um das nicht ganz triviale Problem zu lösen, dann einen solchen Einzeiler als Antwort bekommt. :roll:

Da kommt richtig Freude auf.

Aber das war ja auch von mir total falsch gedacht, denn eigenständiges Denken ist im Plan eh nicht vorgesehen.

(Wozu auch, wenn man einen nützlichen Deppen wie RM hat, der das einem so vorkaut, daß man es nur 1:1 abtippen muss).

Die gigantische Leistung, das oben zitierte so umzusetzen, daß es auf die eigene USB-ID passt, ist dann doch eindeutig zu viel verlangt (dazu müsste man ja mindestens ein ganzes Zeichen ändern, statt alles blind abzutippen!!!!!!!111ELF).

Ich entschuldige mich also aufrichtig dafür, wie konnte ich nur die Unverschämtheit besitzen, so etwas zu erwarten. :shock:

Da ich also scheinbar vollkommen unwürdig bin, Euer Hochwohlgeboren bei solch einem Problem zu helfen und dabei die königlichen, grauen Zellen vollständig von eigener Arbeit zu befreien, werde ich mich in die Verbannung zurückziehen und Euer königliche Hoheit nicht weiter mit meinen Ratschlägen belästigen.

Also das was du gemacht hast ist schon Hammer würde ich in 100 Jahren nicht hin bekommen ...
Vor allem ich hätte nicht mal nahezu den Ansatz bekommen leider.
Aber ich hab kaum eine blassen über Linux leider.

Aber wo finde ich das mit der USB ID wie ich das ändern kann? unter /etc/udev/rules.d/z25_local_rules file gibt es nicht die Datei z25_local_rules file!
Noch was was mich Interessieren würde dieses entpacken von der EXE-Datei geht das eigentlich auch ohne Konsole ?

So kurz vor dem Ziel jemanden hängen zu lassen...
Meinst du das jeder diese Linux Kenntnisse hat wie du ?..
Warum glaubst du wohl hab ich mich an ein Forum gewandt ??
Wenn ich wüsste wie ich die ID ändern könnte hätte ich es schon längst gemacht aber danke mach dir keine mühe mehr .....
Hoffe mal wanderst gibt es Leute wo mehr Verständnis haben als du .....
