ASUSTeK Ethernet Controller geht nicht

Hallo,
ich habe auf dem PC Suse 10.0 installiert.
Das Mainboard ist ein Asus P5GC-MX mit i945 Chipsatz.
Wenn ich in yast bei Netzwerkkarten den Asustek Ethernet Controller bearbeiten will kommt
"Das Gerät hat kein Kernelmodul der Treiber könnte in den Kernel eingebaut sein"
Gibt es für den Controller Kernelmodule?
Wenn ja wo kann ich die aktivieren?

Vielleicht postest Du mal lspci, damit wir sehen, was genau das ist?

Der dürfte von 10.2 auch nicht automatisch erkannt werden, aber zumindest gäbe es dafür KMP-Pakete.

Die src.rpm sind leider nicht für 10.0 geeignet, aber man könnte daraus den Quellcode rausholen, entpacken und mit make && make install sein Glück versuchen.
