Danke für die schnelle Antwort,
ich habs jetzt geschafft, den treiber zu installieren.

Danach: Yast -> Netzwerkgeräte -> Netzwerkkarte -> hinzufügen -> Gerätetyp: Drahtlos; USB; DHCP; -> OK -> Betriebsmodus: Verwaltet -> Essid: xxx; Authentifikationsmodus: Gemeinsamer Schlüssel; Schlüssel angeben: xxx;-> OK/Beenden.

Allerdings komme ich dann immer noch nicht ins Internet.

Was mach ich falsch ?

Naja, es kommt überhaupt keine Fehlermeldung.
Aber wenn ich Firefox oder Konqueror starte kommt halt die Meldung:
Firefox kann keine Verbindung mit dem Internet herstellen (oder so ähnlich)

Ich möchte nur wissen ob man sonst noch etwas tun muss außer den Dingen die ich oben schon gemacht hab.

Jetzt funktioniert's zumindest mit dem Stick. Nach einem Neustart hat sich dann so ne "sprechblase" links aufgetan, deren ladebalken bei "28% Status der Aktivierung: Gerätekonfiguration", stehen blieb. Wenn ich in der "taskleiste" (wie heisst das ding eigentlich in linux ?) auf das symbol mit dem zahnrad klicke, zeigt es mir mein SSID und das (verschlüsselte) Netzwerk von unserem Nachbar an.

Vielleicht liegt es auch nur an den falschen Einstellungen.
Unter Widnows gib ich in das mitgelieferte Programm ein:
SSID:xxx
Netwerktyp: Infrastructur
Authentifizierungsmodus:Automatisch
Verschlüssellung WEP
WEP Einstellungen -> WEP-Länge : 128 bit -> Voreingestellte ID: #1 -> Schlüssel-Format: ASCII -> Schlüssel #1: xxx

Unter Linux tipp ich auf:
Name: (Die SSID von oben)
Verschlüsselung: 40/104 bit - ASCII
Authentifizierung: (keine Ahnung, Auto gibts nicht)

Ach ja und was muss ich bei den Firewalleinstellungen in Yast einstellen ?
Externe, Entmilitarisierte, interne oder keine Zone ?

Kleiner Tipp.

Die Ausgabe von relevanten Konsolenbefehlen (die man auch schon von Dir erfragt hat) kann man auch aus dem Konsolenfenster kopieren und hier posten.

Das ist 100mal besser als irgendwelche Screenshots, die ich mir zumindest so oder so nie ansehe, weil sie meist nichts wert sind.

Die Karte ist doch aktiv.

Allerdings fehlt die Zuordnung zu einem AP.

Und versucht mithilfe von iwconfig den stick richtig einzustellen:
