Modem im Notebook Compaq Evo N610c

Hallo,

ich habe mir gebrauchtes Compaq Evo N610c zugelegt auf dem ich Suse 10.2 installiert habe. Bei der Installation unter Yast wird dieses auch erkannt. Folgender Eintrag ist dort zu lesen: AMBIT Microsystem Evo N600. Bei der Einrichtung von kppp wird dieses Modem nicht erkannt; Fehlermeldung "Modemgerät kann nicht geöffnet werden" Habe mir danach die unter /etc/sysconfig die Konfigurationsdatei angeschaut. Darin steht MODEM_DEVICE=/dev/ttyLTO. Genau diesen Eintrag kann ich unter kppp nicht finden.

Was kann ich tun, damit das Modem funktioniert?

P.S. unter Yast fehlen die Initialisierungsstrings für das Modem

jepp, habe mit dem Link den Chipsatz des Modems herausgefunden. Ist ein Agere.DSP - Chipsatz. Habe in der Suse 10.2 Distro kein entsprechendes Treiber-Packages gefunden. Muss ich nun die Treiber selber compilieren? Oder gibt es schon fertige rpm-Packages, die unter Yast installiert werden koennen?
