Windows-Client für neuen Cyrus einrichten

Hallo alle,

ich habe nach dem Linux-c't-Spezial mit Suse10.1 einen Mailserver eingerichtet. Fetchmail holt die Mails ab, sie werden nach Viren gescannt und sie sind inzwischen in den entsprechenden imap-user-ordnern gelandet.
Per telnet localhost imap kann ich mich auf dem Mailserver mitr dem Imap-Server verbinden. Von meinem Windows-Clint bekomme ich mit telnet 192.168.123.113 imap keine Verbindung. Die Firewall habe ich abgeschaltet.
Irgendeine Einstellung scheint ja wohl noch zu fehlen...?
Über die Verbindung vom Client zum Mailserver stand leider gar nichts in dem Artikel und schon verliessen sie mich. Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

Warum mit Telnet? Was passiert den wenn du mit deinem Mailclient z.B. Kmail auf dem IMAP Server zugreifst? Was steht in den Log-Files und wie sehen deine conf Dateien aus? So ist es unmöglich dir zu helfen.

...naja, in einer Doku, die ich hier irgendwo gefunden hatte stand, dass ich das ganze mit Telnet testen kann, und auf der Kiste selbst klappt das ja auch, darum Telnet. Von einem anderen Rechner aus bekomme ich bei dem selben Telnet-versuch die Meldung "Connection Refused".
Einen grafischen Linux Client habe ich nicht, dafür wollte ich MS-OE benutzen.

Ich schaue heute abend mal nach Logfiles und Conf-Dateien und poste hier noch etwas mehr Infos. Editiert habe ich nur eine fetchmail-conf-Datei, die ist sicher uninteressant. Was wäre denn hilfreich zu sichten?

Also für dein cyrus Problem habe ich noch keine Lösung, da ich im Moment nicht zu Hause bin, habe ich bis zum Wochenende keine Möglichkeit nachzuschauen.
Die Meldungen aus der /var/log/mail zeigen das dein clamd (der virenscanner nicht läuft) schau mal mit "rcclamd status" nach ober der läuft, wenn nicht solltest du den über den "runleveleditor" im yast aktivieren.

Was sagt

eigentlich ist es mir ja peinlich:
Ich habe mir gerade einen haufen virtueller Server (Xen) für alles mögliche eingerichtet. Naja, und jetzt bin ich mit den IP-Adressen irgendwie durcheinander gekommen.
Kaum benutze ich also die richtige IP-Adresse und schon bekomme ich meine Mails in OE angezeigt...

Ich melde mich aber demnächst nochmal, wenn es um das Versenden von Mails geht, das scheint noch nicht zu klappen, aber ich schaue erstmal selber.
