[solved] stat not found

Compiling a rt73-driver from serialmonkey, I get this error:

Code:

cp makefile.6  ./Makefile
cp: cannot use stat on makefile.6: unknown map or file

I have stat installed, part of the Coreutils

What could be the problem ?

You forgot to type a capital "M" in the first file name.

Sorry, problem is SOLVED !!

They changed the compile-script, but forgotten to change the README.
I must start with ¨make¨ and skip this one.

Sorry once´s again.
