Kein Internetzugang mit nvidia Netzwerkkarte

Hallo!

Seit dem ich Mandrake 6.0 zum ersten Mal installiert habe (ist schon lange her) kam ich bis zuletzt ohne Hilfe von draußen klar.
Jetzt bin ich auf SuSe 10.1 umgestiegen und komme auch mit einem Stapel Bucher, die ich sorgfältig durchgeforstet habe nicht ins Internet.

Eine Netzwerkkarte muss nach folgenden Kriterien konfiguriert werden (bin leider kein Admin im Netzwerk)

Eigene statische Adresse: 192.168.123.16
Subnetzmaske: 255.255.255.0
Gateway/Router: 192.168.123.254

Gleich nach der Installation von SuSe 10.1 wurde eine Internet Verbindung aufgebaut und Updates wurden installiert. Nach dem ich den Rechner neu gestarttet habe gibt's kein Internet mehr.

eth0 und lo lassen sich pingen.
Gateway ist nicht erreichbar.
/etc/resolv.conf ist leer.

Ich selber habe VMware und benutze deshalb kein XEN und weiß auch nicht was das für Risiken und Nebenwirkungen hat. Ohne jetzt zu WISSEN was diese Zeile bedeutet VERMUTE ich WILD RUMRATEND daß da im XEN *IRGENDWAS* konfiguriert werden muß.

Benutzt Du XEN ?

Könntest Du zu Testzwecken die Firewall mal deaktivieren ?

Es sollte (zumindest laut GRUB) eine normale SuSe 10.1 ohne Xen sein.
Die Firewall habe ich schon mehrmals ausgeschaltet --> ohne Wirkung.

(Zeige alle installierten Pakete an und davon dann aber nur die wo 'kernel' im Namen vorkommt)

BTW - bei meiner SuSE 10.1 hier kommt diese Zeile in der SuSEFirewall nicht vor bzw ist auskommentiert. Ich habe die Firewall aber auf dem Rechner aus (hängt nur im internen Netz)

Rein theoretisch gesehen, sollten sogar die Packets, die mit ping gesendet worden sind als Tx, also transmit gelten.(???)
Und das ist eben nicht der Fall.
Außer ifconfig zeigt auch kNemo 03.0.1, dass es nichts gesendet wird, obwohl laut knetworkmanager eine Verbindung besteht.
Vielleicht liegt es am Treiber. Ich versuche mal freie nVidia Treiber mit kommerziellen Hersteller-Produkten zu ersetzen. Hoffentlich verlanden die Scripts keine Kernel-Kompilation.
