Hallo zusammen,
ich wollte soeben den Networkmanager unter Suse 10.1 ausprobieren, nachdem ich bisher mit "ifup" gut gefahren bin.
Der Networkmanager stellt auch laut Meldung erfolgreich eine Verbindung her aber Firefox kann keine Seiten finden und "ping www.google.de" bringt "unknown host" als Meldung.
Wenn ich wieder zur klassischen Methode zurück wechsele, habe ich augenblicklich wieder Internet.
Kann mir jemand einen Tip geben? Habe schon hier im Forum und bei Google alles abgesucht aber nichts passendes gefunden.

Wie gesagt, unter "ifup" funktioniert alles wie geschmiert und unter dem Networkmanager bringt ein rcnetwork keine Fehlermeldung.

PS: Die Netzwerkkarte hängt direkt am DSL-Modem und dieses am Splitter. Habe keinen Router.
