Acer Laptop und WLAN

Hallo Leute,

ich habe auf meinem Laptop SUSE 10.0 und wollte damit ins Internet.
Ich habe schon stundenlang gelesen aber ich komm nicht weiter.
ich hab das ACER 3023WLMI und hab folgendes (durch die Anleitungen die ich im Internet so gefunden habe) ausprobiert:

Als erstes acerhk installiert. Hat, so wies aussieht, geklappt.

dann den ndiswrapper.
Wenn ich ndiswrapper -l eingebe erscheint:
bcmwla driver present, hardware present

dann modprobe acerhk usedritek=1 force_series=3023
echo 1 > /proc/driver/acerhk/wirelessled

und jetzt heißt es in der Anleitung, sollte das LED leuchten... Tut es aber nicht....

Hast Du im Yast schon die Wlan-Einstellungen sprich ESSID. WEP etc vorgenommen ??
Wird von kinternet benötigt.

Ich hab die Verbindung (vorrübergehend) geöffnet, also ohne jegliche Verschlüsselung.
Die Internetverbindungsinformationen sind schon auf der Fritzbox. Ich brauch also kein KInternet oder?
Zumindest nicht wenn ich es per Kabel mach....

Dann scheint das acerhk-Modul nicht korrekt installiert zu sein. Vergleiche einmal die Ausgabe von dmesg vor und nach einem modprobe acerhk. Den Unterschied kannst du dann bitte hier posten.
Was ein ESSID ist, könntest du bspw. bei Wikipedia nachsehen oder auch in jedem x-beliebigen Text zum Betrieb eines WLANs.
