Suse 10.1 erkennt Netzwerkkarte nicht

Hi,
hab mir seit kurzem ein Asus A7J Notebook gekauft.
Jetzt bekomme ich leider keine Verbindung zu meinem DSL-Router weil
Suse 10.1 und sogar KANOTIX erkennen die Netzwerkkarte nicht !!
Bitte helft mir!!
Muß mich scho die ganze Zeit mit Windoof rumschlagen :cry:

Chipsatz : Intel Centrino Duo T2400, 1,8 Ghz

Hast Du außer WLAN noch eine andere Netzwerkkarte ?

In diesem Fall poste mal die Ausgabe von lspci.

Ansonsten haben wir für WLAN die Forensektion WLAN.

Bei SuSE 10.1 dürfte die Firmware, der Treiber oder beides fehlen. Wenn Du Glück hast ist das auf der non-oss CD drauf.

yast erkennt die normale Netzwerkkarte als AsusTek Ethernet Controller und meine Intel W-Lan Karte (diese ist allerding noch nicht konfiguriert da ich keinen W-Lan Router habe).
Läft bei mir alles ganz normal über Cat5.
Wie gesagt Yast erkennt die Netzwerkkarte aber unter dem Zusatzpunt Hardwaredetials ist der Eintrag Modulname leer (war bei meinem alten Notebook nicht so).
Liegts am Kernel ?

Poste mal die Ausgabe von lspci (das listet alles auf was der so auf dem PCI Bus findet und da sollte die Netzwerkkarte ja dabei sein)
