Ein Problem habe ich: Samba will nicht auf meinem PC.
Mein System: SuSE 9.3.
In meinem Netz habe ich noch einen PC mit Win2000, und ich will einfach nur Daten hin und her schaufeln können. Mit SuSE 9.0 klappt das auch alles.
So habe ich die entsprechenden conf-Dateien von meinem 9.0-System in das entsprechende Verzeichnis des PCs unter 9.3 kopiert. Folgendes ist mein Stand:
- von Win2000 aus kann ich den Linux-PC anpingen (umgekehrt geht das auch)
- auf Win2000 sehe ich in der Netzwerkumgebung den Rechner Athlon (=Linux-PC) mit Kommentar 'Samba Server'
Aber in das Verzeichnis komme ich nicht rein.
Auf der Linux-Seite habe ich logs geprüft: /var/logs/samba/log.smbd liefert:
global parameter guest account found in service section
+ Fehler zum Drucker (dazu später).
Entsprechend fand ich in log.nmbd:
Samba name server ATHLON is now a local master browser for workgroup ARBEITSGRUPPE on subnet 192.168.0.100
Die Datei smb.conf habe ich als PS angehängt, allerdings ohne den printer-Teil.
Was mache ich da falsch?
