Hallo!
Ich wollte unter Suse 9.2 WiFi Radar installieren. Ich möchte damit mehrere WLAN-Netze verwalten.
In der Readme steht folgendes:
Here is what is important:
* It will always look for the config file in /etc/conf.d/wifi_radar.conf.
You can change that in wifi_radar.py
* If that file does not exist, it will create it, so you must always run
it within a correctly permitted account (as root or use sudo)
* Running it without the "--config" option will set it to "scan and auto
connect" mode, which has no UI.
* Running it with the "--config" option will display the UI for
configuration.
* The icon SVG file must be in /usr/share/pixmaps/wifi_radar.svg
You can change everything from the conf file which is a simply .ini file.
To change the location of the .conf file change it in wifi_radar.py.
If you have questions, post them to the Linux Forum at the X1000 Forums site

No compile or make, if you have python installed and pygtk2 then you are set. I don't know if you
are on X1000 Linux (or gentoo) but this is how you would install it correctly.
* put it somewhere accessible
move wifi_radar.py to /usr/local/bin and make it executable
chmod +x wifi_radar.py
* Call it at boot time
edit your /etc/conf.d/local.start and add the line to call it
/usr/local/bin/wifi_radar.py
That will scan and auto connect you to a preffered network (if you have one configured).
* In Gnome (or X or KDE) rut it with the --config option
# sudo /usr/local/bin/wifi_radar.py --config
That will bring up the GUI so you can create profiles (or scan).
Remember, always run it as root or use sudo.
I included an svg icon so you can add it to the gnome panel as a launcher. I click it, it starts
the gui config.
Before I forget, move the svg file to /usr/share/pixmaps, it will look for it when you run in
--config mode.

Kann mir da jemand helfen?!
