W-Lan bricht gelegentlich ab

Hallo bei meinen Laptop bricht unter Opensuse 13.2 immer das W-Lan ab.?

Unter windows habe ich diesbezüglich keine Probleme - das Laptop ist also i.O.

Woran kann es liegen?


Ich verwende Opensuse 13.2 da das Problem schon länger existiert habe ich schon so ziemlich alles auf den aktullen Stand aktualisiert:

- Kernel
- WPA-Suplicant
- NetworkManager
- Modemmanager
- systemd


Das Problem tritt unter wicked wie auch mit Netwerkmanager auf :-(

Hab ihr eine Eklärung für das Verhalten?


Mit "rcnetwork restart" kann man das w-Lan zwar wieder relativ schnell zum Leben bekommen, aber es nervt echt tierisch!!!!

Wird der Adapter eventuell forciv in standby geschickt? Verwendest du zufällig 5 Ghz oder explizit 2.4 Ghz ? Oder beides?
Schonmal nur 2.4 ghz versucht, falls?

Steht irgendwas in dmesg, wenn er aussteigt?

Die Fritzbox ist eine 7360, laut den Einstellungen würde ich sagen die kann nur 2,4 ghz.

Auch "komisch" gerade eben konnte ich den kompletten Tatort durchstreamen ohne Probleme.... sonst bricht das Gerät häufig alle 5 min oder so ab.....

Wie kann ich desmg auslesen?

Was bedeuted forciv standby?

Das hier öffnet dmesg so in nem pagerstyle und fügt automatisch den letzen 8 zeilen der Ausgabe neue einträge hinzu:

Ehm wenn du noch sagen würdest, was für eine WLAN das ist im Detail, dann könnte ich mal schauen ob ich herausfinde wo die entsprechenden Einträge für Stromsparfunktionen im sysfs dafür liegen. Dann könnten wir abfragen was eingestellt ist.

Nach einem Abbruch habe ich "desm-w" aufgerufen und anschließend mit einen Neustart der W-Lan verbindung mit "rcnetwork restart" durchgeführt

PS.: Ich kann auch nur erkennen, dass die irgendwie an und aus geht. Vermute die geht schlafen. Scheint ein notebook zu sein. Und da wäre es auch logisch, dass irgendwelche Stromsparpolitik betrieben wird.

Nur so eine aus der Theorie geborene Frage: Du verlangst /sys/class/net/wlo1/../../power/control, sollte das nicht eher /sys/class/net/wlo1/power/control sein?

Aber ich glaub des sind irgendwie symlinks, ge? Kann mann des noch einfach erzielen? Und ich kann sie dir nicht ganz genau beantworten. Ich weiss aber dass es an der Stelle funktioniert, was ich vor habe.

Ich benutze immer TAB um mich dort hin durchzuringen.

Eine möglichkeit für einen Testlauf bis zum nächsten Neustart würde auch Powertop bei "tunables" bieten.
Dort den WLAN Adapter suchen und und die Tunable umschalten. Dort wird auch der Pfad angezeigt, der könnte einfach kopiert werden.

Und wenn ein "on" helfen würde, könnte mann sehen ob es eine entsprechende Ladeoption für das Kernelmodul gibt. Und das irgendwo in der modprobe.d statisch übergeben. Und angenommen das Kernelmodul hat das nicht, dann halt via sysfs (boot.local). Soweit meine Idee.

Wenn der Wert umgeschaltet wird ist es halt nur für diesen einen Bootvorgang so gesetzt. Weil die manuellen änderungen via "echo" halt nicht permanent sind. Das hiesse eben auch:
Umschalten und direkt testen ohne reboot. Und nochmal die "control" prüfen bevor er neustartet.

Und wie gesagt wenns helfen würde, würde ich zumindest versuchen das einfach permanent zu machen.

Und wenn nicht, dann halt nicht.

Rein gefühlsmäßig hätte ich es in der udev-Ebene darunter angesiedelt (dort zeigt /sys/class/net/* hin, und auch dort gibt es power/control), aber solche Gefühle täuschen oft.
