WLAN: Suse 11.3 und TI ACX 100 & ACX 111 Chipsatz

Hallo Zusammen,

ich versuche zwei Cardbus-WLAN-Adapter (Dlink-DWL-650+ und Vivanco PCC 54) mit den TI Chipsätzen ACX 100 und ACX 111 unter SUSE Linux 11.3 in meinem AMILO in Betrieb zu nehmen.

Ok, unter YAST werden die Karten nicht erkannt.

ist schon genau richtig für mein Problem, bezieht sich aber auf eine andere Version und wurde leider nicht beendet.

habe ich gelesen, dass die Karten mit den acx-Paketen funktioniere, zwar nur in WEP, aber das reicht erst mal.

Leider sind sie für SUSE Linux 11.1, in SUSE Linux 11.3 werden sie von YAST weder in den Paketquellen, noch in den Repositories gefunden,
hier: http://www.thmoritz.de/linux/suse11332.php sind sie auch nicht.

Kann ich jetzt die aus 11.1 für meine 11.3 verwenden ?

Hier gibt es ein Projekt für den Chipsatz. Leider sind bei mir bisher alle Versuche abgesehen von ndiswrapper gescheitert.

ja ja, natürlich fehlt die Firmware, daher frage ich ja nach den Paketen, die ich für meine Suse 11.3 nicht finden kann, für 11.1 eben schon.

Gerne gebe ich die gewünschten Informationen aus dem von Dir angesprochenen Link:
Das Skript ´collectNWData.sh´ liefert bei beiden Karten dieselben Fehlermeldungen:

Das habe ich gemacht, war aber Unsinn, weil es sich auf den eingebauten Broadcom WLAN Chip in meinem Amilo
bezieht, der soll aber nicht verwendet werden.

Bitte, lest auch meine Fragestellung,
ich will nicht wissen, warum die Karte nicht funktioniert, denn das kann sie nicht ohne Treiber.
Ich will wissen, wo ich den Treiber herbekomme, für 11.1 hatte ich ihn ja gefunden, jetzt suche ich ihn für 11.3.

SAL, von dem dieser Link stammt, Danke dafür, schreibt ja auch, dass es nicht funktioniert hat.

Das Problem ist nur, dass ich bei jedem Kernelupdate neu kompilieren muss, dass müsste ich bei einem fertigen und mitgelieferten Paket nicht, daher die Frage.

SAL, von dem dieser Link stammt, Danke dafür, schreibt ja auch, dass es nicht funktioniert hat.

Die NDISWrapper -Lösung birgt das gleiche Problem.
