[gelöst] openSUSE 11.3 64bit Wlan einrichten RTL8192SE

Hallo Leute,

ich habe mir ein neues Netbook gekauft und hab natürlich gleich mal das Windows gelöscht und stattdessen lieber openSUSE 11.3 rauf geschmißen. Es passt alles echt genial!

Das einzige Problem was ich noch habe ist das Wlan einzustellen, leider finde ich im Forum nix passendes dazu, bzw. kenn mich da nicht genau aus..... :???:

okay, das muss ich mal nehm ich mal an ins Terminal eingeben.
Aber dann sagt er das ich mich als root anmelden muss.
Wie mach ich das im Terminal?

okay, habs schon.
im Terminal einfach als erstes su - eingeben und dann das passwort!
Dannach den Texit hineinkopieren und dann 1 drücken dannach y
das ganze wiederholen aber dann 2 drücken.

soweit so gut,..
wie gez jetzt weiter?

Das mit dem root hab ich schon intus!

Wenn ich jetzt den Befehl von dir in das Terminal eingebe, kann ich 1 oder 2 auswählen
oder sollte ich den Befehl wo anders eingeben?

Wenn du zwischen 1 & 2 wählen kannst, dann stimmt was nicht. Zeige doch mal den genauen Ablauf (was wie genau eingegeben, welche Ausgaben). Am besten per copy & paste.

Dann wurde es installiert, Neustart. War bei der Frage zu 1 & 2 auch ein c dabei? 2 ist bei Zypper meistens Abhängigkeit(en) zu ignorieren.

Okay dann hab ich es installiert, hab auch schon neu gestartet.

Aber sobald ich von Lan abstecke ist funkstille.
Ich persönlich vermisse auch so ein Wlan Button unten rechts in der Leiste
Und ich finde auch sonst nix zum einstellen mit Wlan, bzw. gibt es eine möglichkeit Wlan zu suchen und zu verbinden?
So wie bei Mac oder Win???

Zum Vergrößern anklicken....
Dürfte sich bei dir um den KNetworkManager handeln (wenn du KDE benutzt, ansonsten nm-applet bei GNOME).

Absolute path to 'modprobe' is '/sbin/modprobe', so running it may require superuser privileges (eg. root).

Das andere kann ich nicht schreiben da es zu lang ist.
Ja ich benutze KDE mit dem Knetwork Manager.

Ist alles ein wenig kompliziert,.. :???:
