Wlan gefunden, Passwort eingegeben, Kein Internet [gelöst]

Der Titel sagt es eigentlich schon.

Ich habe mir heute SuseLinux 11.2 mit KDE 4.3.1 auf den Laptop geschafft und (ohne etwas zu ändern, alles auf Originaleinstellungen gelassen) dann über das kleine Netzwerkkabel-Symbol unten rechts in der Ecke mein Wlan aus der Liste der verfügbaren ausgewählt, das passende Kennwort in die entsprechende Sparte eingegeben und "ok" geklickt...

Mit dem Ergebnis, dass einfach nichts passiert ist. Keine Internetverbindung...

Ich hab gegoogled, hier die Sufu benutzt, aber das Prob ist eben dass ich wie der Ochs vorm Berg stehe und keinen blassen Schimmer habe wie LInux funzt... Macht schon die Eingabe eines adäquaten Suchbegriffs schwer.

Meine Frage ist also: Muss ich irgendwas am Router umstellen, damit der nen Linux-Rechner unterstützt oder habe ich, den Simplizismus von Windows gewöhnt, einfach eine Einstellung nicht vorgenommen, die ich hätte machen müssen?

widerspricht sich. Wusste nicht dass es auch ethernet controller mit wlan Fähigkeiten gibt. Ergo habe ich das Script entsprechend geändert und CND0110E sollte nicht mehr in diesem Fall gemeldet werden :roll:

Da hat der framp auch noch was für sein skript abgreifen können.
Hier scheint mir aber im 'lspci' ein fehlerhafter Eintrag zu sein. Gut möglich, dass sich das in einer zukünftigen Version auch wieder zu einem WLAN-Eintrag ändert.

Es ist nicht MEIN Script - ich habe nur angefangen die ewigen poste mal dieses command oder das andere command zusammenzufassen und es für die LINUX COMMUNITY erstellt.

Feedback bzw Erweiterungsvorschläge sind leider sehr mau ... deshalb bleibt mir nur das ABGREIFEN

Du weißt doch, "positives" Feedback oder gar ein Dank sind sehr selten. Klappt etwas nicht so, wie es erwartet wird, kommt schon Feedback. (Manche sagen auch "Gemecker").
