es handelt sich hier um ein kleines Testsystem.
Ich habe einen Server und einen Client mit Suse 10.3.
Der Adressbereich bezieht sich auf 192.168.100.1-255 Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Meine dhcpd.conf sieht folgendermaßen aus:
default-lease-time 50;
max-lease-time 60;
option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
option broadcast-address 192.168.100.255;
subnet 192.168.100.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
range 192.168.100.30 192.168.100.65;
}
ddns-update-style none;
Beim Befehl dhcpd -start kommt folgende Meldung:

Das einzige was der DHCP können soll, ist dynamisch die IP's zu vergeben und ohne Fehlermeldung zu laufen.
