[gelöst] Kein WLAN im Akkubetrieb

Ich habe ein Laptop Dell Inspiron 1720 der mittels Networkmanager per WLAN an einer FritzBox 7270 hängt.

Im Netzbetrieb läuft alles wunderbar jedoch im Akkubetrieb verbindet der Networkmanager nicht er versucht es zwar aber klappt nicht. Sobald ich das Netzteil anstecke hab ich sofort eine Verbindung.

Unter Windows XP funktioniert die Verbindung auch im Akkubetrieb also schließ ich mal die Hardware aus.

Hi, ein ähnliches Problem hatte ich auch. Hat vermutlich was mit den Energieverwaltungseinstelungen zu tun. Stell doch mal in Systemeinstellungen-->Erweitert-->Energieverwaltung-->Allgemeine Einstellungen-->Aukkubetrieb auf "Performance"

Deshalb gibt es verschiedene Profiles wo definiert wird wann, was und nach welcher Zeit bzw ob nicht generell ausgeschaltet wird um Strom zu sparen. Offensichtlich ist in Deinem ersten Profile die WLAN Karte immer ausgeschaltet. Die frisst leider schon ziemlich viel Strom

Tja, da scheint aber bei mir in Kde 4.3.1 auch ein Schalterchen zu fehlen, um den Powersaving-Modus entsprechend zu konfigurieren, "Wlan aktiv" o.ä. gibt es da leider nicht. Das gleiche Problem hatte ich ja auch. Es funktioniert eben nur unter Performance.

Dann scheint es bei euch nur am Dell Inspiron 1720 zu liegen; bei meinem Mini 10 funktioniert es unter Powersave einwandfrei.

Ich hab des Rätsels Lösung gefunden und zwar benutz ich laptop-mode und da kann man ja alles mögliche konfigurieren.

Bei mir war es unter /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/wireless-ipw-power.conf -->

Code:

und /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/wireless-iwl-power.conf -->

bei *_BATT_POWER= die 6 in die 7 geändert und alles lief wie es soll. Auch im powersave mode.
